This web site is provided as a public service by the Susquehanna Orchid Society. Information presented on this site is considered public information and may be distributed or copied unless otherwise specified. Use of appropriate byline/photo/image credits is requested.

For site management, information is collected for statistical purposes. The server system uses software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. "Cookies" may be used to enhance the serviceability of this site. User ID's are logged for statistical information. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw data logs are scheduled for regular destruction in accordance with applicable Federal laws and guidelines.

Names, email addresses, etc submitted for mailing lists, membership applications, or inquiries about the society will not be sold, shared or traded with any other organization. Mailing lists are used only for those people who have specifically "opted in" and anyone who wants to be removed from such lists will be deleted from all records maintained by the society.

Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.
